The Piano Teacher has a rating of 3.34 on Goodreads and I’ll conclude by saying that is exactly what is deserves, if not less. There were a few minor characters who were mildly interesting, but not enough for me to care about them or this book. This would have been a 1 star read were it not for the fact that the story picked up midway through the book and became mildly interesting. The reason it took me two weeks to finish it is because this book was DREADFULLY DULL!!
You’d think the reason for that is The Piano Teacher is some massive tome, but nope. It took me two weeks to get through it, yet none of the 18 books I read before took me longer than one week to complete. The Piano Teacher was my 19th read of the year.
